1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accessing the website, or using the Task Draft application (collectively, the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated by email or through the application before they take effect.
2. The service
Task Draft is a software-as-a-service platform that helps users draft business documents, communications, and related written content using a combination of templates and AI-assisted generation. The Service is provided online through a web application accessed via a browser.
We continually improve the Service and may add, modify, or remove features. Where a change materially reduces functionality on a paid plan, we will notify affected users in advance.
3. Accounts and security
To use most features you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@taskdraft.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Accounts may not be shared between multiple individuals; each user must register their own account.
4. Subscription plans and billing
Task Draft offers free and paid subscription plans. Pricing, features, and usage limits for each plan are described on our pricing page. By selecting a paid plan you authorise us, or our payment processor, to charge the recurring subscription fee plus any applicable taxes to your chosen payment method.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until then. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy.
A free trial, where offered, is provided once per user. We reserve the right to revoke trial access if it is being used in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of an evaluation period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, infringes another party’s rights, or that exploits, harms, or attempts to harm minors. You also agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
- access the Service through automated means in a way that could disrupt other users;
- resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without our written consent;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to train competing AI models.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice where the breach is serious or repeated.
6. Your content and generated output
You retain ownership of the inputs you submit to Task Draft and of the drafts generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs and outputs solely to operate, secure, and support the Service. We do not use your prompts or outputs to train third-party AI models.
Generated content is produced by automated systems and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it, particularly for legal, financial, medical, or other consequential decisions.
7. Intellectual property
The Task Draft name, logo, software, designs, and underlying technology are owned by Task Draft and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of our intellectual property rights to you, except for the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these terms.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on trusted third-party providers for hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and AI infrastructure. Your use of the Service may also be subject to the terms of those providers where applicable. We do not control, and are not responsible for, third-party websites or services linked from within Task Draft.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Task Draft, its directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@taskdraft.app or via our contact page.
